Dr. Vishwas Vanar is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist with AdventHealth Medical Group in Apopka. He offers advanced GI screening and treatment procedures including video capsule endoscopy, esophageal manometry, impedance pH monitoring, single balloon enteroscopy, radiofrequency ablation for Barrett’s esophagus, and fecal microbiota transplant. He is an active and published researcher whose special interests include acid reflux, inflammatory bowel disease and chronic liver diseases. He is fluent in the English, Gujarati and Hindi languages. Dr. Vanar is a fellow with American College of Physicians. He is also a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology.
