Apopka High School is an educational institution that provides learning experiences to more than 2,500 students in grades 9 through 12. It conducts classes in language arts, math, science, social studies and technical education. The school organizes basketball, bowling, cross-country, golf, tennis, lacrosse, and track and field activities. It offers opportunities to participate in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Apopka High School also maintains French, interact, chess and key clubs. Its facilities include a counseling department, career resource center and library. The school also has a parent-teacher-student association. It additionally operates a student advisory council. Apopka High School is administered by Orange County Public Schools, which operates through budget, transportation, school improvement, property accounting and human resources departments.
