Some of the products offered by the company are individually quick frozen (IQF) white shrimps, clams, shells, shucked and frozen shucked oysters. Based in Apalachicola, Fla., the firm serves wholesale food distributors from Key West to California. Leavins Seafood, in partnership with the University of Florida, has founded the Oyster Industry Lab in Apalachicola. Its offering, Frosted Oyster, is a patented product that finds extensive application in the restaurant industry.
