Whitt s Barbecue has been a Nashville, Tenn., tradition since 1978. The company s barbecue is slow cooked the old-fashioned way; 24 hours over glowing hickory coals. Whitt s Barbecue s products include its barbecued pork, beef, turkey or ribs. The company has been voted best of Nashville in the prestigious Nashville Scene every year since the contest was started in 1988. It has locations throughout Tennessee, in addition to Kentucky and Georgia. One of the Whitt Barbecue locations is in Antioch, Tenn., where it employs nearly 60 people.
