The Engineering and Development Services Division, a part of the Community Development Department, is responsible for review and approval of public improvements for new residential, commercial and industrial developments. It focuses on the inspection of improvements and provides information to the public for flood plains in Antioch in California. The division is also responsible for the management of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit. The Engineering and Development Services Division provides solid waste disposal services and programs. In addition, it manages traffic and transportation.
