Southern New Mexico Human Development is a private, nonprofit mental health organization that provides mental health care services. It serves individuals suffering from mental illness and alcohol and substance abuse by providing educational services to increase public awareness. The organization works to seek resources to plan, develop and implement evidenced based programming to reduce drug abuse through the cooperation of agencies, institutions and law enforcement agencies. Southern New Mexico Human Development offers outpatient, emergency, and evaluation and diagnostic services. It is comprised of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers and consultants who provide a range of counseling, educational and clinical services. The organization also offers psycho-social rehabilitation, community networking, crisis intervention, and individual and group therapy services. Southern New Mexico Human Development maintains a presence in Anthony, N.M.
