Founded in 1992, Shanghai Club is a full-service restaurant specializing in French, Mandarin, Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. Based in Anthem, Ariz., the restaurant serves a range of food dishes in categories, such as appetizers, seafood, noodles, rice, soups, salads, chicken, beef, pork and vegetables. It offers shrimp and scallop in garlic sauce, chicken with green beans, Thai curry chicken, Mongolian beef, spicy pork, walnut shrimp, egg plant, chow mein, Thai fried rice and chicken spring roll.

The worst Chinese food I have ever had. The general tso chicken was dry and completely lacking flavor, the egg roll was pure dough and the hot n sour soup tasted like soy sauce (perfect if you want to salt yourself into a coma). I will venture into phoenix next time I crave Chinese which sadly, after this experience, won't be for a long while. Absolutely horrible. And I am from Chicago. I've had my share of good and bad Chinese food. This trumps them all as the worst.
I think that it would be a really nice thing if Anthem, Arizona got more restaurants. Something like Chilis, TGF, Houlihans....things like that would really be great for the town.
