John C. Mead School provides educational and extracurricular programs to approximately 500 students in grades three through five. The school features a cafeteria, playground, media center, computer lab and classrooms. Its staff members include classroom teachers, social workers, psychologists and nurses. John C. Mead School operates a parent-teacher organization that supports activities, such as book fairs, fundraising events, and family math and reading nights. The school organizes veteran s day programs, talent shows, and cultural, arts and music festivals. It provides special education and English as a Second Language programs. John C.
