The Ansonia Housing Authority is a public agency that helps people who meet income and other eligibility guidelines secure affordable housing in the city of Ansonia, Conn. It provides a variety of homeownership and educational opportunities. The authority owns, manages and maintains more than 280 family and elderly housing units. Its Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance Program provides rental subsidies to up to 647 low-income families who live in privately owned housing units throughout Ansonia, Shelton and Seymour, Conn.
