Dr. Ron Dachelet retired in 2018 after 45 years of dedicated service to his patients. Dr. Ron Dachelet was raised in Florida and attended the University of Florida before going to Vietnam. After Vietnam, he was in the first graduating class of the University of Alabama School of Optometry in 1973. He was recruited to come to Anniston and work with Dr. Springer immediately after Optometry School. After a few years with Dr. Springer, Dr. Dachelet opened his own practice. He has been in private practice for 40 years. He has been married to Terrye Dachelet since 1973 and they have four children. He has been very active in his community with Rotary, Jaycees, Anniston Country Club and the Calhoun County Chamber of Commere, just to name a few. Dr. Dachelet enjoys working with his patients but is starting to slow down to enjoy semi-retirement.
