Dr. Ziad Batrouni, DDS joined Maryland Oral Surgery Associates in 2006. Dr. Batrouni received his Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech; he then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Northwestern University Dental School, graduating in the top 10% of his class, and obtaining multiple academic and research awards. Dr. Batrouni completed his internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University Medical Center. Dr. Batrouni is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Southern Maryland Dental Society, and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Batrouni is Vice Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Anne Arundel Medical Center, as well as a clinical instructor at the Washington Hospital Center.Dr. Batrouni cares deeply about his patients comfort and about maintaining outstanding communications with his patients dental care providers. He has tailored his offices and trained his staff to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience. This starts with a thorough consultation visit, to put his patients at ease. Dr. Batrouni has been voted Top Doc in Whats Up Magazine for 3 consecutive years.Dr. Batrouni resides in Annapolis, MD with his wife and two children.

Words cannot describe how incredible my experience with Dr. Batrouni has been. It has been quite some time since I've been to the dentist and I haven't really taken as much care of my health after the loss of my mother. So finding out I needed oral surgery was concerning and I was so nervous. Thankfully Dr. Batrouni not only made me feel confident about doing what was necessary to care for my teeth but the extraction and dental tooth graft was successful, painless and stress free. Thank you!
My kids have had a variety of oral surgery needs, including wisdom tooth removal and dental implants. Our dentist referred us to Dr.Batrouni and I'm glad she did. He worked closely with our dentist (Meredith Esposito, Chesapeake Dental Arts) to ensure the best timing and outcome. My son has Type 1 diabetes; Dr.Batrouni was very knowledgeable about the condition and how to consider blood sugar levels while planning for surgery.
