(PRL&C) is a 47 year old real estate appraisal firmPRL&C was included in the "Washington Business Journal" 1997 & 1998 top ten list of commercial appraisal firms in the Washington Metropolitan area. Our job diversity and technologically advanced office has provided steady growth over the years, rising from #10 in 1997 to #6 in the 1998 "WBJ" survey, the last time appraisers were surveyed.We appraise vacant land, residential dwellings, office buildings, industrial R&D and warehouses, hotels/motels, new subdivisions, apartment buildings, shopping centers and special-purpose properties. We also appraise large tracts of land for Open Space Programs, agricultural and utility company needs and others. Special purpose properties we have appraised include child development and rehabilitation centers, car dealerships, funeral homes, recycling centers, schools, daycare centers, fire stations, museums and religious institutions. We also prepare market rental studies for many clients, one in particular is the United States Postal Service. Fractional or partial interests have become very popular in estate planning and we have done many of these appraisals in conjunction with the 100% fee simple estate valuation.
