Disappointed-One project was replacing a window sill. When he re-installed the window sill, it was not level. I had to tell him it was not level and after he made it level, there was a noticeable hole under the sill, which allowed a chilly draft through in the winter. He didnt fix it that day, I had to call him back to patch the hole. The second issue I had was I wanted a piece of dry wall replaced that received water damage. He performed some knock test of the drywall and said he may be able to skim it, but he would decide the day of the job. He decided he could just patch the wall. At a later date I removed the baseboard myself, I found more damaged drywall and visible cracks up the wall. One positive is that he patched other holes in walls that I didnt originally ask to patch. He also installed a door and two other window sills successfully. After talking to him this is a venture to keep him busy after retirement from the Navy and is not extremely skilled at. QC his work!
