Charming independent bookstore, with used, new and antiquarian books, reminding me of bookstores I have found travelling in the UK. Amazing antiquarian selection and excellent collection of books in translation. Remarkable selection of nautical books as well. I guess I should expect this since it is in Annapolis. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.The Treasure Island Room, complete with sea mural and pirate ships, has an impressive selection of children's books, new and used.The store is located on Maryland Avenue in Annapolis and is the most interesting and appealing street in town. Many tourists, apparently miss it, although it is just off Main Street. Galway Bay, a famous Irish pub is across the street from the bookstore and there are many other unique stores on the street.
