First visit and saw Miss Melanie and was treated with great compassion and respect! I am not at all easily opening up and talking freely like today - but her care and understanding really reassured me, this is a good fit and choice for me and my mental health!! Thanks and looking forward to my next visit and hard work!!

My son who is 18 had been seeing psychiatrists since the time he was about 6 when he was diagnosed with ADHD and ODD (Oppositional and Defiant Disorder) We moved to the area almost 10 years ago, but it took several years before we took the plunge to change psychitrists to one in this area (instead of Silver Spring) My son had been seeing Dr. Melenie, but saw Dr. Adelek Ogunmenfun (her husband) when she was out of town. He acurately picked up on my son's depression, which had been missed, and when he filled in for her again picked up on the fact that instead of ADHD and ODD my son had BiPolar 2. The office may not be the most organized, but I feel he is an exellent clinician, and seems to relate to my son fairly well.

My grandson was scheduled for a new patient appt with Dr. Adeleke Ogunmefun today at 12:30 pm. An appt which I had to travel an hour and a half to attend. Upon arriving 20 minutes early for my grandson's appt I learned that the doctor was not even on site. During my wait, I witnessed two other patients, who were also waiting to be seen, engaged in conversation regarding the doctors reoccurring tardiness. Not only was the doctor late to arrive for appt but the office staff makes a practice of double booking appt. My grandson and 1 other patient were both scheduled to see the same doctor at 12:30. The 2nd patient was scheduled for 12:45. How does a provider offer any patient quality care when appt are double booked and rushed through? After waiting for the doctor to finish seeing the other 2 patients he told me he couldn't see my grandson today...that we should reschedule. I am not all impressed with this facility and it's staff. Needless to say, I won't be rescheduling.

Medical Director of the Practice, Dr. Melanie Ogunmefun is the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever encountered. She is combative and aggressive with patients and their family. In my opinion, she has absolutely no customer service experience. If you are looking for a professional facility that values its patients you should seek care elsewhere because you will not find it here.
