Window install was fine. I don't recommend for storm door install. Had nothing but trouble with my ill fitting door. Finally had to have someone else come out and fix it, since Allied couldn't correct the problems.
I fought getting new windows for many years--thought my old wooden ones were the only architecturally honest detail of my 60's colonial, even though I hated the storms that went along with them and the cold air that blew through them on winter nights. I finally gave in one nippy fall day when I was cleaning those same windows and removing the cranky aluminum storms. My hands were cut and bleeding from the cold and the metal snags. I called Allied, they installed before Christmas, my house looked better, and my heating/airconditioning bills dropped by half. Efficient and courteous, the crew from Allied got the job done quickly and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. Allied's products are solid, their salesmen are knowledgeable, and their crews gentlemanly. I've recommended them to several friends; they have all had the same excellent experience. And cleaning the windows is no longer a chore.

We highly recommend The Allied Window Center. They replaced our front door and sliding glass back door. Easy to work with, highly professional and timely to finish the job.
I have a 1933 Cape Cod, and they took their time to make sure the windows fit in what is basically a house with no square corners. :-)Only concern is with the new storm door, which makes a sound like distant thunder when opened or closed....will call them about it after the holidays.
