Founded in 1978, Michigan Head Pain & Neurological Institute provides treatment for headache and related neurological disorders. The center is dedicated to the prevention of clinical deterioration, unnecessary surgery and other procedures. It offers a broad range of behavioral medicine resources, including diagnostic, treatment and consultative services. Neuropsychological evaluation and treatment for cognitively impaired and head injured patients is also available. Physical therapy evaluation and treatment is provided by a trained and experienced staff. It treats the joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves and other soft tissue structures and helps to restore proper functioning, eliminate movement restrictions and reduce pain. The institute is based in Ann Arbor, Mich.
