Abbot Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Established in 1962, the school enrolls more than 250 students and provides classes in math, music, English, art, computer technology and language arts. It conducts a Reading Intervention Program for students in kindergarten through grade two. Abbot Elementary School, a part of Ann Arbor Public Schools, provides a continuum of services for special education students. The school also conducts the First Steps Program for preschoolers. It maintains computer and wireless laboratories, as well as a voice enhancement system. In addition, the school provides Title One services for students who require academic support. Abbot Elementary School is located in Ann Arbor, Mich.
