In operation for more than 30 years, the Lakeland Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center offers a range of nursing care services to individuals and families. It is a 70-plus-bed facility that provides a variety of health care and rehabilitative solutions. The center offers assistance with a range of personal care services, including bathing, dressing and meal preparation. The Lakeland Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center employs a staff of certified nursing assistants and provides blood pressure, temperature and pulse checkup services. It also offers dementia-related and wound care, as well as stroke recovery services. The center employs a certified dietary manager and provides laundry assistance. The Lakeland Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center organizes a range of activities, including arts and crafts, music lessons, cooking classes, physical fitness sessions and outings. Additionally, it provides physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as consulting solutions. Located in Angola, Ind., the center is a part of Covenant Care.
