The Angola Fire Department has been providing fire protection and rescue services since 1873. It has a staff of trained and certified firefighters who offer fire suppression, calls assistance, vehicle extrication, water and gas rescue ad carbon monoxide monitoring services. The department is equipped with a variety of fire safety equipment, such as trucks, ladders, pumpers and tankers. The Angola Fire Department conducts emergency and nonemergency medical training classes for employees. It provides fire inspection, investigation and building maintenance services. The department organizes public safety and smoke detection programs. The Angola Fire Department offers services to Pleasant, Jamestown, Scott and York townships, Indiana. The department is located in Angola, Ind.
