On a new house construction my builder recommended “Mason’s Vinyl Siding And Seamless Gutters” and I went with his recommendation. It took quite a long time to get them out to the job site however that was understandable in light of how busy the construction industry is in my locale.

When the install date arrived I met with both my builder and Tony Mason in the morning. We determined where the guttering and downspouts would be located. After the meeting I left the site for work and they began the installation. That afternoon I returned to the job and found that one of the downspouts that had been agreed upon at the morning meeting was not in place. Tony and his worker were already gone and I questioned this with my builder. He said Tony had determined that particular downspout was unnecessary. I didn’t question that decision.

As rains arrived we noticed that the guttering in the area of the not installed downspout was dripping for days at a time. I called Mr. Mason and he and his worker came out however they did not make an appointment with me and I was not there when they returned. When they assessed the situation they told the person I built the house for that another downspout was needed. She asked why it wasn’t installed in the first place. Mr. Mason told her that I said that it was not needed. This is an absolute untruth.

I called Mr. Mason some 3 - 4 more times and left messages requesting that he return to install the missing and needed downspout. Now months have passed and Mr. Mason has neither returned my calls nor fixed the problem.

The problem is now fixed as I am an extremely capable and skilled worker myself. Finding the time to do the fix was the issue. What was really insidious is that once I began working on fixing the problem I found that Tony and his worker had actually pitched the guttering in the direction of the not installed downspout and in the opposite direction of the downspout that they did install.

As a result of the above described service, or lack thereof, I would neither hire this company ever again or recommend them to anyone.
