John is by far the most competent, fairly priced and competent sewing machine technician I've ever used. I wouldn't consider using anyone else for my Bernina, or any of my household sewing machines. He even came out to look at my Bernina, which had been badly abused by being in my garage...to let me know if he could even fix it before putting any money into it. He decided it could be salvaged....and told me the limitations on it, considering the damage that had been done. Furthermore, when I worried that perhaps the machine wasn't worth salvaging, he assured me, he wouldn't work on it if he couldn''t make sure the machine was still a reliable Bernina worthy of the name. And true to his word, it has been humming along ever since...

John has shown great patience in servicing my machines. Resetting what I've messed up and explaining what I should have done instead of what I did. I've gotten a mini history lesson on my old old singer and a new appreciation for what it can and can't do. If you listen while you wait your turn you can learn quite a bit about different types of machines. He also sharpens scissors at a great price.
