Julie Cullen is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker with over ten years of experience serving children, adolescents and their families in different settings. She is a graduate of Boston University where she earned dual master's degrees in social work and special education. After seven years working in residential treatment as a Clinician and then Clinical Director, Julie moved on to run a Therapeutic High School program for the Peabody Public Schools. Currently Julie is working as a therapist privately in her practice in Andover where she provides services including individual and family therapy as well as parenting support. She has intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and has worked extensively with Clinicians from The Trauma Center in Brookline using their A.R.C Model of trauma treatment. Currently Julie accepts all Blue Cross plans and is in the process of becoming a provider for other managed and preferred plans.
