Located in Andover, Kan., Cottonwood Elementary School serves students in grades kindergarten through five. The school s academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, technology, visual arts, music and physical education. It organizes various activities, including a variety of field trips and assemblies, student council, spelling bee, red ribbon week, school musicals, and an annual book and art fair. The school provides access to the Augusta Theatre, Wichita Youth Symphony, Exploration Place, Arts Partners and the Sedgwick County Zoo. It has a parent-teacher organization that offers various programs and activities for students, parents and teachers. Cottonwood Elementary School is a part of the Andover Public Schools.
