Anderson University is a privately owned and operated institution. The institute has more than 2,500 graduate and undergraduate students. Its flagship center is spread over an area of more than 53,000 square feet. It offers pre-health professional programs in the fields of medicine, physical and occupational therapy, dentistry, pharmacy, chiropractic, optometry and podiatry. The university s core curriculum includes chemistry, biology, fine arts, economics, computer science, history, English, general studies, marketing and management. In addition, it provides special classes for Bible education, theater studies, music and nursing. Anderson University is a private Christian college in Anderson, Indiana. Founded in 1917 by the Church of God, the university remains affiliated with its founding church and values its heritage and history. While firmly rooted in the traditions and history of the Church of God, the university has made significant advances in its almost 100 years, progressing from a Bible training school to a full-fledged liberal arts college and finally to a university offering more than 60 undergraduate majors, as well as graduate programs in business, music, nursing, and theology. Today about 2,500 students call Anderson University home. Among these, more than 2,000 are undergraduates while over 550 are enrolled in graduate programs. Our students come from almost every state and 22 nations, and represent about 71 religious denominations.
