We were told Dr. Cline was an expert with rabbits, however we lost our beloved house rabbit who had a blockage and the Doctor didn't even recognize that. He suffered terribly because of it and we paid him. I wish Vets would STOP saying they are experts with rabbits (who are totally DIFFERENT than dogs and cats)!!! They are totally different and very delicate and require knowledge and experience. They are the 3rd most popular companion in the USA, yet treatment is archaic, especially in Shasta County and Vets are not updating their educational requirements to learn and treat appropriately. And the staff was very rude.
We took our dog here after she got hit by a car. They did an X-ray of her leg and sent her home without a splint. They said her leg was fractured. When we brought her back they splinted her leg and said it would heal in 4 weeks. After 2 months, 5 casts and almost $1,500 later we decided to get a second opinion. A new X-ray showed the bone was completely broke and there was no way it would heal with a splint. Now we are facing amputation of her leg. Anderson Vet told us her leg was healing and she would only have to wear the splint a few more weeks. They never did a second X-ray, they only felt her leg and told us it was healing. Please get second opinion if you are considering going to this vet.
We are so sorry to hear of this unfortunate outcome. We can not always determine the variables effecting the treatment plan when the patient leaves our care. We are always willing to discuss situations in private. We hope your pet a speedy recovery.
Amazing doctors and staff! Have been taking my pets there for over 14 years and I absolutely LOVE the genuine concern and care that is given to my dogs and cats. Very supportive and respectful people, along with the conveniences of email and text appointment reminders. Wouldn't take my babies anywhere else!
Do not hesitate taking your pet here, my family has been coming here since the early 70's when Dr Walker was the vet. You will find all the staff from the time you enter their beautiful new facility to be caring & interested in your pet getting the best care. I've had to make the ultimate decision for several of my pets over the years and they have always been so helpful with such a difficult time and have made a very bad event as easy as possible. I have the utmost confidence in all the vets, have had emergencies over the years and they have always taken my dog/cat asap. I do not hesitate to recommend this facility.
All the times I have been coming to Anderson Veterinary Clinic there has not been any problems. I have read reviews from people and I wonder whom they are and what planet are they from??? Why would anybody talk so of a clinic that has so much compassion for you and your pet. I have been treated so kindly by the front staff and also the girls and guys that work the rooms, they have been so helpful in the hard decision I had to make,and answering questions and even bringing me a cool wash cloth and a glass of cold water when I was crying and upset! And the sympathy card that they ALL signed even the doctors was amazing!
What other vet clinic do you know that would even consider such compassion in the loss of a loved one?
Anderson Vet is an exceptional hospital, with an amazing team. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else to get quality affordable care. Finally a place to take of my furry family members, where they get the treatment they deserve. These Doctors actually care more about an animal's well being than the amount of money they can get from the ownwer's pocket!
They are very friendly and perspnable, they bonded with my pet well, everyone had a smile and was very informative !
This veterinary hospital is wonderful. The staff is so nice. I would not go anywhere else!
This is the best vet office, I really like the staff and they are super affordable. I will never ake my dog anywhere else. I would recommend this place to anyone, they actually care about the pet more then the money.
