I went with my gut feeling when choosing which hairdressing program to attend, and am so glad that I did! After graduating I passed both my written and Practical exams on the first try. Sue and Sigel were sure to train everyone as actual stylists so that I was ready to get onto the floor with confidence after finding my first job. I was able to start working at my first choice in salons and hey were very helpful with portfolio and resume building. The trainer at my employer's seemed impressed by my color theory and how quickly I picked up on their color line. It was a great experience, I would highly recommend it for those who feel that hairdressing is an art and not just a job! I would recommend this place to ANYONE and EVERYONE!!! I've had my hair done by other school in town a few different times and was unhappy every time, nearly leaving in tears, running home to box color or a baseball hat. I have friends and family who have gone to MetrOasis for years and so I decided to give it a try. I am so happy that I did. I was a little nervous when I found out the student doing my hair had only been there a little over a month but I have NEVER loved my hair this much. Its turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it. Color was perfect the cut was dead on and the atmosphere was unlike anywhere else I had ever been. Finding a HOME salon isn't easy, im just glad I found mine.

Metroasis is a great place to go for haircuts! My daughter has long thick hair. I have short, thin hair. When styling our hair the students take that into consideration, ask questions, and offer suggestions which I appreciate. We always end up with a great looking cut! My daughter also has her hair colored there and the results are always perfect. Everyone at Metroasis is friendly, helpful, and professional. I recommend them to friends all the time! Liz W.

Everything from when you first call in to make your appointment to the service when you get there and even the experience itself is fantastic!! They are a great way to get professional service at an inexpensive price. You also get to help the students out...even though you can't really tell they're students! Ashley, a (student) Stylist, is wonderful!!!

I have always gotten great cuts and colors. I will not go anywhere else. They offer great service. The decor is upbeat and relaxing. They take their time. Great for men, women and kids!

I love this place! I have been a happy customer since 1996 and would never think of going anywhere else to have my hair done. And now they have a great program where I can get these wonderful, relaxing facials at a great price. Their graduates are also the best at what they do. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Sue, Sigel, and Ally do a fantastic job of keeping their clients happy.

I have been here several times and I find it excellent. Have brought the kids with no problems. It is a licensed training academy so be aware of that - but I and my girlfriend (who has gone there for longer than I ) have had great service here. Yes it might take a little longer, but the instructors are always there and the prices are fantastic, especially if you pick up one of their sampler cards. Hair, cosmetology, tanning - all here. A little cluttered but I wouldn't say dirty at all. Very personal and the students always seem very happy you have given them a chance. The instructors are always available to do you if you wish ( more expensive, appointment recommended.) I have never been disappointed here.

This is a training academy so be informed before you walk in. Perms at a great price, however your hair must be in perfect condition or they won't do it. Mens h/c great price! I think they get stuck in the same layered haircuts for women so go in knowing what you want with a pic or you will end up with a cookie cutter doo. Do NOT bring your children. They are a bit snobby about kids. Its a little dirty and disorganized but a good experience for the cost.
