In addition to regulatory and legislative matters, Mr. Thompson has advised public utilities and other clients in business and corporate matters, including business sales and purchase transactions, government public records matters, power sales agreements, formation and governance of corporations and limited liability companies, and competitive procurement and bid protests.

- Employment ContractMr. Leman serves as general counsel for a number of Alaska electric and telephone cooperatives. He drafts business contracts and corporate documents for a number of corporate and individual clients. He has also assisted clients with real property acquisitions, right-of-way issues, long-term real estate leases and native allotments. Mr. Leman serves as a parliamentarian at utility annual meetings and has assisted clients with drafting board policies, Bylaw amendments, employment policies and employment contracts.

He has represented Alaska utilities in court proceedings regarding fuel delivery agreements, construction projects, and business contract disputes. He has also litigated claims involving the Alaska Wage and Hour Act, sexual harassment, WARN Act layoff notifications and state taxation of municipalities and cooperatives.

She has litigated in front of administrative agencies, in federal and state courts, and in arbitrations and other hearings on a wide range of employment matters. These include claims regarding age, race and disability discrimination, wrongful termination and discipline, family and medical leave, overtime pay, sexual harassment and contract grievances. Ms. Erwin is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has conducted numerous employment-related investigations, led collective bargaining negotiations, implemented standard and executive compensation and performance review plans, and overseen company health plans and human resources compliance programs.
