Bad Experience at Chester Valley! We've been using Chester Valley for years. Recently, our dog required pretty extensive treatment for diabetes. This is costing us a fortune so we started paying attention to the billing more closely. Different charges for the same procedures and a office visit charge even if we spoke to the vet for a minute about procedure. I made the mistake of questioning their billing practices and complaining of certain random charges. They became non-compassionate and felt like the care of staff declined. Never going there again.

We were in desperate need of help, as we had just arrived in Anchorage & settled in, only to have our male cat fall ill. We were broke from the drive up, but after a few calls around I was able to find out that Chester Valley offered a free initial checkup. I took in Fluff to see if they could at least guess what was wrong and perhaps offer advice or home remedies. They were very kind and understanding! Even though they were limited by our financial situation, they seemed to genuinely care about Fluff's wellbeing. They gave him a dose of antibiotics and sent me home with a weeks worth of pills, and insisted I let them know how he was faring after his medication was gone. I was a first-time customer and they offered us a payment plan. It was so relieving, and best of all Fluff was fully recovered in a week! I would recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone!
