- New ConstructionProviding a wide range of construction services and technologies. Established in 1982, we have grown from a small, horizontal boring company into an experienced and diverse general contracting firm.
- ExcavationHorizontal Directional boring, commonly called horizontal directional drilling or HDD, is a steerable, trenchless method of installing underground pipes, conduits and cables in a shallow arc along a prescribed bore path by using a surface launched drilling rig, with minimal impact on the surrounding area(s). Alaska Road Boring recognizes that it is not always practical to use traditional methods of excavation for the installation of underground pipes or conduits. Through the use of HDD, customers can greatly reduce the environmental impacts and disruptions to surrounding areas. Depending on the soil conditions, Alaska Road Boring can bore up to 2000’ in length, with diameters ranging from 2”-36”.
