The Alaska Pharmacists Association works to promote and preserve the profession of pharmacy in the state. It represents various pharmacists and drug manufacturers. The association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. It conducts professional seminars, conferences and informative events for members. The Alaska Pharmacists Association offers academic scholarships to applicants on the basis of educational achievements and financial needs.
