Established in 2007, West Coast University-Orange County in Anaheim offers accredited degrees in dental hygiene and nursing. Our nursing students practice at the La Palma learning site, which features high-fidelity manikins that bleed, sweat, and cry just like real patients. Additionally, our Manchester campus is home to a no-cost dental hygiene clinic where students gain real-world experience while serving the community. Celebrated for excellence, WCU-Orange County has won multiple awards, including Favorite Career College/Trade School in the 2023 San Gabriel Valley Readers Choice Awards. It took getting laid off from my job for me to take the steps necessary to pursue a career in the health care field. I had been working in various offices since I was 16 years old and even though Ive always been interested in nursing, I never had the opportunity to enroll in a program until I found out that I could go to school and keep receiving unemployment. Now, I am working as a Medical Assistant in Urgent Care at Norco Medical Group and as soon as I gain a little more experience, Ill go on to pursue my RN degree at West Coast University!
