Fairmont Private School, located in Anaheim, Calif., is one of five schools founded in 1953, by public school educator, Kenneth Holt. It offers classes to preschool through eighth grade students. Although grounded in traditional academics, its curriculum is constantly challenged by the needs and desires of students. As a result, in addition to core subjects, including language arts, science, mathematics and social science, it offers a variety of optional subjects. It provides courses, including accelerated reader and accelerated math, and medical magnet program. Plays and musicals are performed by the music department and visual arts students express themselves through drawing and painting. Students participate in intramural sports during their daily physical education classes. Fairmont Private School fifth and sixth graders also participate in the developmental sports league.
