Schemmer Johnston lacks the project management skills and back office support any competent engineering firm would make a priority. If you want your project finished in a timely manner with good communication and basic competence, find another engineering firm.

quoted one price and then sent a bill for more than double the price without completing the work. Not once did they ever notify me of a price change or send me some sort of notice that cost were going to be substantially higher. As agreed I sent them half payment up front for work and then they tried to get another up front payment because they credited it to another account. Poor business practices, accounting and communication. I would not recommend.

This is a land surveying company, and not a great one.
