I contacted Leo from Leos Tree Expert to have work done on my property. I have used Leo in the past and thought I could trust him to do work on my property again. Leo came to my home the first week of August to give me an estimate for work done on three trees on my property. The work I wanted done was to have all dead branches cut as well as branched over my garage and house cut down and to generally thin out the excess branches. I was given a cash price of $700. I agreed to the price. He was going to do the work on Saturday 5th but it rained that day, we then scheduled it for Saturday August 12, again rain. He called me and told me he was coming on Sunday the 13th.On Sunday August 13th his crew came at about 3:30PM, but Leo did not come to supervise. His worker Carlos told me not to worry he was going to do the work and that Leo was lazy and did not want to work that day. After Carlos finished the work I told him I expected more work to be done. At this point it was after 4:00PM Carlos and his men were tired and had to go to Queens, if I wanted more work done it was going to cost me more money. I explained to Carlos what Leo told me he was going to do and Carlos did not do all the work. Carlos got very annoyed and did not want to go up the tree again. All this could have been avoided if Leo cam to the job site to supervise. I estimate Carlos did about 70% of the work Leo and I agreed upon.Besides not doing all the work and leaving the job unfinished his trucks leaked oil and hydraulic fluid all one over my side and back yard as well as pools of fluid in the street in front of my home.Since August 13th I have called and texted Leo several times, he has only returned my text once saying he was coming buy Saturday 8/26 at 8:30 AM to resolve this problem, he never showed or bothered to call or text to reschedule.Run, don't walk away from Leos Tree Expert

Do Not pay them until the job is complete and all trees they cut are hauled away. This was my main gripe with them. They were hired to remove trees but failed to finish the job and take away all of the wood. Multiple calls were not returned. When I did speak with them they told me several times they would be by to finish the job but failed to show up as they said on three different occasions. The town eventually cleared the tree away. In the end they were paid to do a job that they didnt completely. Its my fault for trusting their word and assimung they were reliable.
