Our technician, Corey, has been in the computer business for over 20 years. He started at a large chain retail store at the age of 18 fixing televisions, radios, cassette/CD players, etc. At that time, the trend in selling personal computers began. The retail store he worked for desperately needed computer technicians and used Corey’s skills to complete the dramatically increasing workload. Within 1.5 years, Corey became the Lead Computer Technician. By the age of 22, Corey ran a locally owned and operated computer business focusing on design, building, and the implementation of computers and networks for mid-Michigan businesses and schools. After a couple years working for this PC company, the General Motors Company was looking to hire, and he took a job on the assembly line. After 5 years of assembly line work, he decided it wasn’t where he wanted to work the rest of his career. He left GM and began working for himself the following years while fixing computers only by word-of-mouth referrals. Recently, with the ability to remotely connect to customers' computers, he found he could reach a larger customer base... so began ineedapctech.com.
