Provided by DexKnowsService department overcharges and makes up excuses for not calling with estimates. Also difficult to get someone to take you seriously when looking to buy a vehicle. You'd think they'd want to make money rather than scare off customers they deem unworthy?! If you can't afford to drop a stack of bills, just avoid this place.

Provided by DexKnowsVery, very rude service department employees. And there is no point in going to the supervisor, he's the worst! They went over the amount I authorized when I dropped my car off for service. They then told us to "never come back" after we demanded they stick to the authorized amount. The service guy practically threw a tantrum when he had to redo the paperwork for the CORRECT amount, meanwhile the supervisor was sitting at his desk making snarky comments under his breath. After we paid, my husband asked for my keys and the supervisor began to question whether our credit card was declined, it wasn't of course. He apparently just felt the need to demean and belittle his customers before granting us the privilege of posession of our own vehicle. I have never experienced such rude behaviour at any business, ever. I highly recommend avoiding this place at ALL costs. They will overcharge you and act like YOU should be thanking THEM

From the receptionists sitting at the front desk to the car dealers, I hope noody ever decides to do business with this shop located in Ames Iowa. If you are in the market for a new car and are planning on staying in Ames, I would avoid Ford all together just so you don't have to deal with this dealership. After an entire month of waiting for my car to be fixed (yes, an entire month), I had questions that needed to be answered. After asking the receptionist if I could speak to an owner, I was told that he was not in and would not be until the next day. While voicing my concerns about the lack of customer care I received, lone behold the owner comes over, identifies himself as the owner, and tells me I can leave the property. THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE! These people then laugh at me while I am basicly escorted off the property. By far the most disgusting display of professionalism!
