Steve and the guys are great! They did a outstanding job and the price was fair. I'm happy I found a great place to get my car repaired. Fair and Honest.

Our daughters car broke down and Mondini's was the closest place to tow it. Steve said he got a crank sensor error and called me but I was at work, so he called my non-mechanically inclined wife. He said that He needed to change the timing belt and since the water pump was in the way, he needed to change that too. My wife agreed and after I found this out I called Steve. Steve said after all that work the car still won't start and he needed to back track to find the problem. He discovered that the #2 ignition coil had burnt up so he changed it without contacting me first. He then called me and said the car was done after $950 later. When I found out about the coil I advised him that I had just had that coil replaced a few months before and that it was still under warranty. He asked me who replaced it and I told him it was Firestone and he advised me to get the refund from them. I went to Firestone and they said all they needed was Steve to contact them with a invoice # so they could refund me. I told Steve this and he refused to contact them saying it was my problem, not his. After arguing with him and reminding him that If he had contacted me before he installed the coil then I could have taken care of it myself. And after reminding him of the thousands of dollars I've spent at his shop, he called Firestone. After arguing with Firestone he just told me to eat the cost. He even used the F-bomb while talking to me. He will never get my business again.

I have used Mondini here in Amarillo since 2001. I took our car because the heater wasn't staying hot. After $305. worth of work the the heater did the exact same thing as it did before I wasted $300. So I took it back in 2 weeks ago. They said they were short handed and would call after they had a chance to see what was wrong. I waited 2 weeks and called today and they said it was ready. When I go pick it up they charge me another $41. We are very tight on money person and I hate that we spent $305 and got NOTHING for it!!!! And I pray the $41. really solved the problem. I have lost all faith in them and need to find someone new to work on our cars ;) We just practically threw $350 down the drain which makes me sick!!!

I really think Earl and Steve strive for excellence...I have had issues with my passenger window on my Explorer.....Think they got me all fixed up!!!
