The clerk accused me of theft here. I brought in my mother's watch with a missing pin to be replaced and also my adorable old watch that I found way back. It was too big for me then but I recently decided to adjust the band and successfully did so with tools meant to fix glasses. However, I wasn't able to change the battery myself to I decided to bring it here. The middle aged female clerk first told me, "You shouldn't do that" after she saw the cap of my watch was off. I just took it off to see the type of battery. The watch wasn't damaged. She had black hair and overly grown red nails. She then went to the other counter, and said to her coworker, "It's rusted, and doesn't work. she 'found it.' I don't know how true that is". I was baffled! The older gentleman offered to fix it for $55, but I had to decline. They seriously need to teach her how to behave in front of customers. I am not a thief! I just came to get my mother's and my watch fixed. I will never return here again.

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseTook my watch in for a new battery and came out with a ruined $500.00 watch!! He replaced the battery and then proceeded to polish my band taking all the gold plating off one side of my band and returned it back to me claiming he had only used Dawn dish washing detergent on it when I heard him used an electric buffer on it! He told me he would not replace the band and told me it was my responsibility!! I took it to another jewelry store and they confirmed the abrasive marks on one side of the band that the gold plating had been removed! The price quoted for a new band for my watch was $250.00! Upon confronting him he said "so sue me"!!

Jewelry doctors suck!!! Don't trust them with any of your jewelry! They won't stand behind their work and they do crappy work!!
