Located in Amarillo, Texas, Highland Park Independent School District offers educational and enrichment services to students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school district comprises Highland Park High School, Highland Park Middle School, McCulloch Intermediate School, Armstrong Elementary School, Bradfield Elementary School, Hyer Elementary School and University Park Elementary School. Its special services department provides special educational programs to disabled child and it also provides talented and gifted education programs. Additionally, the school provides courses in English, business education, communications, math, science and social studies. Its Academy for Lifelong Learning provides community education and enrichment classes for adults and children and various extended day care programs. It also provides various activity programs, such as football, basketball, wrestling, softball, baseball, track, band, chorus, art, robotics, cheerleading, quiz bowl, foreign language studies and drama. The district also offers computer education, food services and alternative schooling programs.
