i.e., A local favorite,I am writing this because i am a new owner of Bangkok Tokyo, this place was sold to me since November2011. We are absolutely the only place in town to get sushi that's good and affordable. We are still serving a conbination of Thai and Japanese cuisine. The restaurant has been remodeled since i got this place, so " Not a place to go for atmosphere " is absolutely wrong since then. We are still a small asian restaurant but not small in the taste, the service is more than perfect. There is no more radio on the background, radio music never worth any type of full service restaurant especially where is managed by professional team, and we are professional. The iced tea is refilled and $1 a can for soft drink is pretty affordable compare to $1.95 or $2.25 for refilled soft drink cause finally nobody can drink more than 2 can of coke per meal , and i don't wanna charge someone who drink 1 glass of coke for more money, so you pay what you get thank you for your review
The only place in town to get sushi that's good AND affordable. Serves a combination of Thai and Japanese cuisine. Not a place to go for atmosphere... typical small asian restaurant feel, but cutely local and friendly wait staff. There's always Christian radio in the background, for what it's worth. Only free refills on the ice tea, NOT the soft drinks... the only real drawback.
