Every pond Kloubec Earthworks builds automatically includes these critical components: A Core Trench - acts as a lock for new fill and a seal to hold water. An Overflow Pipe - a pipe installed to prevent an overflow in the event of an abundance of rain, melting snow, etc. An Emergency Spillway - a structure used to provide the release of excess water to protect the dam or levee. The spillway is shaped as a dip in the levee itself, and comes into effect once the overflow pipe has become overwhelmed. Silt Basins -For ponds with a high amount of runoff, silt basins are small secondary ponds constructed to intercept runoff. This helps keep the main pond in pristine condition. * In addition, we will stock your new Iowa pond with fish at no additional charge! Species include: Largemouth Bass, Channel Catfish, Hybrid Bluegill, Black Crappie, Minnows and Grass Carp.
