      Youn Wha United Martial Arts of Southern Arizona is a organization dedicated to teaching students the martial art system of Youn Wha Ryu and the life and leadership principals it promotes. Youn Wha Ryu is a martial arts style founded and developed by Grandmaster Man Hee Han. Its core training foundation is Tae Kwon Do and at higher ranks students begin to learn the most effective and efficient techniques found in Kung Fu, Karate, Hwarang Do, Jui-Jitsu, Akido, Judo, Hapkido, Kendo, Tai Chi and others. Our hour-long classes encourage students to increase and develop full-body power, agility, coordination, balance, flexibility, reaction and timing while producing self discipline and perseverance. Training can be modified in order for students of all ability levels to participate. Rank promotion is an option for those students who can train consistently, learn all the required rank curriculum, and receive their instructor's recommendation. All promotional testings are officiated by master level instructors.

      Great martial arts school. Though its not a very big building, the instructor is great and the training does feel more personal. If your interested in martial arts or something to do for fitness, I'd strongly recommend checking out Youn Wha United Martial Arts of Southern Arizona. Your first class is always free, just show up for a class. My wife and I started back in September of 2015 and have had a great time since, at the time of this review I'm a 2nd degree yellow belt. This school belongs to a bigger martial arts organization Youn Wha United based out of Phoenix.
