Not your Friday's, Tuesday's, or Zach's. 20 and 30 somethings will be disapointed, but this is how all bars looked like in Altoona back in the days. Just an old neighborhood tavern. Small but then again you can see everyone. Many Irish knick-knacks abound, and pix on the menus of Ireland. All menus have different pix. One downside-smoking permitted-didn't think that the smoking police allowed that anywhere. And there were smokers there, which left our clothes smelling of smoke. But that's what a washer is for! Several Irish beers on tap. Menu includes lots of traditional Irish foods, including some great seafood chowder. Bangers and Mash special for the night, and it was plentiful and good. Mollyburger made from fresh ground meat and large and delicious, but you can top your burger with 40 toppings. Except for the smoke we liked it.

have excellent food, great service, and the atmosphere itself is wonderous. people make a difference, and they prove that theory. two thumbs up!!
