This is the perfect little butcher shop family run and has been a corner stone in altoona for as long as I can remember grade A product and very reasonable prices I hate when there closed cause I have to go to the super market lol

I have been coming to Blochers for years they have the best cuts of meat for a really reasonable price its one of those places you remember coming to as a child with your father and it has never changed the best quality and the friendliest staff if there is something that you want that they don't have they will go out of there way to find it for you I would give them 6 stars if you could I refer everyone to them

I recently purchased half a beef from Blochers Meat Market. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about how to process the animal to get the best yield and portion sizes for my family, as well as explaining how they test the meat for tenderness and will not sell it unless it meets their high quality standards. My order was available on time as promised and was boxed and labeled so the different cuts could be easily sorted for wrapping as i did this myself. I would highly recommend Blockers Meat to all who are looking for high quality, fresh meats at an excellent price and also like the personal service of the "Home Town Butcher".
