On 1/11/15...Sunday am...I was found unconscious and unresponsive. 911 called. The response was almost immediate. Thank you for that. Unfortunately, the assessment from the EMT's was I was "under the influence"of drugs or alcohol AND treated the situation as such. Upsetting my family with the line of questioning and not taking the information given back to them as fact. Even after 'proof' was offered. There were two gentlemen, one with a calming nature and the other who actually was yelling at me. Yelling? I had no idea what was transpiring when I started becoming lucid inside the ambulance. I was taken to the UPMC, who rightly so, went by the report from the EMT's. The hospital ended up wasting precious time and resources to find nothing. EVERY TEST CAME BACK NEGATIVE. So what happened? I had a Grand Mal seizure, biting thru my tongue. I'm sure the "yelling" EMT should not be in that position or at the very least, he requires more training. I plan to file a formal complaint.
