Gillian Long, FNP, is a board-certified family medicine physician who sees children (starting at age one), teens and adult patients. She provides preventative care, including vaccinations, screenings and school and sports physicals. She treats a wide range of conditions, including cold and flu symptoms, infections, allergies, heart disease, diabetes, respiratory illnesses, minor injuries, joint pain, urinary tract infections, kidney disease and high blood pressure. Gillian's top priority is treating every patient with the utmost care and helping them achieve optimal health. Her passion for providing comprehensive and lifelong care to families is evident in her practice. She believes showing compassion, kindness, and respect to her patients is the foundation of exceptional medical care. In addition to treating her patients, she educates them on managing their health and provides them with the necessary resources. Gillian enjoys the outdoors, bowling, painting and art, crocheting, Legos and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Gillian earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri, and her Master of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Simmons College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts. This practice is part of BJC Medical Group of Illinois.
