This was a pleasant experience. As far as a medical procedure goes. The entire team the morning of the procedure were great. Dr. Zapatier has a good bedside manner, especially if you’re the nervous type. I felt…. Nothing. Then I woke up and was out the door. From the time I walked in the door to the time I left was barely two and a half hours as I recall. And you’ll feel fabulous that you did something to give yourself personal care before you REALLY need it. Prevention. Prevention. Prevention.

I had a colonoscopy performed on 5/18. Dr. Zapatier took time to thoroughly explain the procedure and results both before starting and after the colonoscopy was finished.

Dr. Zapatier was extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring throughout my entire colonoscopy procedure!!! Dr. Zapatier answered and addressed all of my questions with evident concern and care. The staff at Digestive Disease Consultants were helpful, professional and very courteous at each step. The nurses and additional physicians assisting Dr. Zapatier during the colonoscopy were also extremely professional and top notch!!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Zapatier & Digestive Disease Consultants!

From registration to recovery. This staff is excellent. Very attentive friendly and do an excellent job. When I woke up, the nurse Lea attended me and she worried about me in everything, she made me feel comfortable with the process after the colonoscopy (which is not very pretty). Dr. Zapatier and the entire staff at D.D.C. were extremely professional, efficient and courteous during my recent endoscopy. From the moment the facility doors opened for check-in, until they closed behind me following my procedure, I truly felt like I was in competent hands and receiving the best care and information pertaining to my medical condition.

Prior to the appointment, I had prepared myself with horror stories about having a colonoscopy proceedure but inside of 15 minutes, I was feeling better about where I was having it done. They are excellent at what they do. I went to sleep and woke up with everything done and I was feeling great. Hungry, but no pain or even any discomfort and I am so fortunate I didn't wait too long.
