The Syllables Reading Center is an educational institution that serves students with reading difficulties in kindergarten through grade three. The center maintains a staff of teachers and therapists that offers research-based instructional programs. It provides multisensory reading programs that focus on visual, auditory, tactile and kinesthetic activities for students with reading and writing disabilities. The Syllables Reading Center operates a parent-teacher association that encourages parental involvement in student education. The center conducts special classes in vocabulary development and spelling. It additionally offers lessons on phonics, grammar, sentence creation, paragraph development, and proofreading and editing techniques. The Syllables Reading Center maintains its locations in Atlanta, Alpharetta and Marietta, Ga.
