- Dental ExaminationIn addition to the dental exam, we will conduct a TMJ and bite examination. During this process, we will check for tension or tenderness, as well as signs of grinding or clenching. Afterward, we will review our findings with you in detail, discuss a treatment plan, and address your questions. Our examination also includes your gums. When we know the health condition of your gum, we will be able to determine the type of dental cleaning that is best for you.
- X-raysDental X-rays are an important part of routine dental care for adults and children. They can detect common problems and help our team identify gum disease. Dental X-rays also allow us to see inside the tooth, revealing problems that we could never see with a traditional examination.
- Teeth CleaningDental cleanings are crucial to sustain excellent oral health. Of course, dental cleanings are one component of reaching exceptional dental care, while routine brushing and flossing teeth is critical to a beautiful smile. Our amazing hygienists, Megan and Rachel, will, twice per year, remove dental plaque and check for other issues, sometimes even including OralDNATesting®, that can detect serious oral disease. Sometimes, Dr Sable will recommend more detailed care called periodontal detail cleaning. You are in great hands, whatever your dental situation, with Dr. Sable and his team.

- Deep CleaningPeriodontal disease is when the teeth and gums need additional treatment more extensive than regular dental cleaning. When bacteria get under the gum line, the soft tissue becomes irritated and infected, causing redness and swelling, called gum disease. The bacteria can destroy gum and jawbone tissue, which can result in “calculus” and eventually tooth loss. Hygienists perform a periodontal deep cleaning. Removal of the calculus, combined with proper oral hygiene, will allow the gum tissue to reform a tight and healthy seal at the neck of the tooth. These are meticulous processes and may take several appointments.
- DenturesDental implants are metal posts that are surgically positioned into the jawbone beneath your gums to provide stable support for artificial teeth. Some people who have lost bone in their jaw can still get implants, but first the bone must be augmented with a bone graft. Dentures and bridges mounted to dental implants won’t slip or shift in your mouth, which will make you feel more comfortable and confident about eating and speaking. After receiving implants, regular follow-up visits are important.
- Dental ImplantsYes, we offer dental implants as a permanent and reliable solution for missing teeth. Dental implants are titanium posts that are surgically placed in the jawbone, providing a strong foundation for replacement teeth. They look, feel, and function like natural teeth, allowing you to regain your smile's aesthetics and functionality.

- Cosmetic DentistryGACD is a top tier dental organization which invests in its members by providing outstanding learning opportunities through lectures, hands-on learning, and courses from speakers who are at the very top of their fields. These learning opportunities are offered at a very affordable fee, especially compared to the price of these opportunities outside of GACD. The GACD works hard to build relationships with sponsors and organizations that also benefit its members. Additionally, the GACD is a great source of the latest in technology and techniques that allows dentists to provide the best in cosmetic care for our patients. Cosmetic dentists in Georgia are lucky to have such an exemplary chapter of Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in our community, and I am grateful to be a member and be able to take advantage of all these opportunities.
